HARTRON has got installed computers, peripherals and other allied
items in various State government Departments, Boards and Corporations.
These computers are being used for various jobs ranging from word
processing to generating MIS reports. The Corporation has provided
its consultancy to more than 80 State government departments and
organizations.

IT
solution Planning: HARTRON
has executed the Police WAN Project connecting all
the Police Stations in the state to the District
HQ and the State HQ. The Corporation is preparing
IT plans and DPRs (detailed project reports) for
various Government Departments, Corporations and
Boards. These are being prepared as per the National
e-Governance Plan (NeGP) guidelines issued by the
Department of Information Technology, Government
of India.

Software
Development: The
Corporation, which boasts of a team of highly qualified
professionals having experience in the core technologies
like GUI based Development, Image Processing, Data
Ware Housing and Web enabled development, has developed
prestigious software projects for the Election Commission
of India, Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Haryana State Agriculture
Marketing Board, Haryana Housing Board, Transport
Department, Animal Husbandry Department, etc.

Web Services:
Websites being one of the primary channels for
dissemination of information related to government
domain among citizens, HARTRON has put in place
a framework and guidelines for maintenance and
updating of websites of different Departments/Boards/Corporations
of the State government. The Corporation is designing
and developing websites and related works of different
government Departments/Boards/Corporations of
the State.
The
corporation is placing thrust on this futuristic
area and has created a team of professionals to
design and develop static to dynamic websites.
Also there has been growing emphasis on web-enabled
applications to utilize the potential of web for
the interest of the users. The Corporation is
using HTML, DHTML, IIS server, Perl/CGI scripting,
Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, Adobe
Photoshop etc. for this.

Hardware & Software Purchases: The
Corporation is supplying computer systems and allied items,
applications and system software and is an approved source
for supply of electronic items for various government
Departments/Organisations/ Corporations in the State.
The purchase of various IT products is made by the Corporation
with latest specifications and on very competitive prices.
The
Corporation is also rendering free services to various
government Departments/Organisations regarding hardware,
software trouble shooting, rate contract, for computer
media, toner cartridges and rate contract for refilling
of toner cartridges. The Corporation is charging 6% as
its consultancy upto order value of Rs 15 lacs and 4%
for order value of above Rs. 15 lacs subject to minimum
consultancy charges of Rs 90,000. The applicable service
tax is charged on the consultancy amount .
Data Processing: THARTRON
having the distinction of being the first organization to
undertake the elector's photo identity cards project in
India, has been designated as the State Level Agency for
election related jobs i.e. preparation of elector's photo
identity cards, preparation of electoral rolls, photo electoral
rolls, software development for Haryana, Punjab and Union
Territory, Chandigarh.
The identity cards project, is the largest database application
in India, wherein the details of voters are maintained alongwith
their photographs. The Corporation is also executing the
work of computerization of electricity bills of UHBVPN and
DHBVPN and also executing the job of computerization of
organizations like Haryana Staff Selection Commission and
many more. The Corporation has more than 200 computers at
its disposal to handle this large volume of data preparation
and processing jobs.

Franchise: To
spread IT culture in the state, HARTRON imparts education
in the field of computer, networking and hardware to rural/weaker
sections/ urban youths to make them IT savvy. Thus industries
meet their requirement by having educated manpower locally,
and youths get employment. The Corporation has created 42
Franchise Centres all over Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh,
which are providing computer courses for a duration ranging
from 1 month to 2 years. All these Franchise Centers have
been equipped with latest computer facilities to provide
hands on training to the students. The curriculum includes
basic requirements like Windows, MS Office, C/C++ and the
high-end technologies like Oracle, Developer 2000, Web Page
Designing, E-Commerce, .NET, Java, Database Administrator
and industries based requirements.
